Desaku, Indonesian traditional song

This song is about being far away from home and about missing your village and family. We sang it quite a lot during our visit to Sulawesi in october/november 2006. We found that many people were touched by the song, so I decided to record it and publish it on the Internet. The second vocal is by my girlfriend Lucie.

Peter,
Leuk dat je die Indonesische liedjes zingt. Mijn vrouw is een Javaanse en vond je liedjes prachtig gezongen. Ik heb zelf ook als jonge man zeven jaar in Indonesie gewoond.
Peter and Lucie, kamu berdua jago sekali deh menyanyikan lagu2 Indonesia. Saya sampai terharu, bangga and senang dong tentunya dihibur oleh orang asing.
